Who is Krystina....

Named Australia’s Most Promising Actress 2015, the West Australian born actress has been acting professionally since a very young age. With a very supportive mom and grandparents, Krystina was introduced to the entertainment industry at the age of three, dancing. She won awards, trophies and competitions for her dance skills. That’s when Krystina knew being on stage and being recognized for her talent was going to be her passion.

 

Her first professional role was Young Eponine in Les Miserables for Perth's The Black Swan Theatre Company in 2005, which performed at The Regal Theatre in Perth for four months. Ever since then, Krystina’s been constantly working on projects including theatre productions such as; A Streetcar Named Desire and The Taming of the Shrew, documentary re-enactments for Foster Housing, radio voiceovers for Don’t Drink and Drive Australia, short films including My Sister, Scary Fairies, various commercials for Australian government educational organization Scitech, and many more. Krystina had the opportunity to audition for Mental (2012), an Australian movie starring Toni Collette and Rebecca Gibney. Unfortunately she didn’t get the role of Jane Moochmoore but she was lucky enough to have been down to the last two actresses to get the role. 

 

After juggling her schooling, auditions and filming schedules, in 2012, Krystina graduated high school at John Curtin College of the Arts with five years of theatre studies and contemporary dance. Two months later, the Perth actress left her small town and headed to The City of Angels (Los Angeles, California) to study at TVI Actors Studio in their One Year Hybrid Conservatory Program. 

While studying full time, Krystina jumped into the deep end and started her international career. She wrapped 2013 with a music video for band, Across Coves (Don’t Leave Me Lonely Tonight) where she played the lead opposite American Olympic Gymnast, McKayla Maroney and the band’s lead singer, Nicholas Podany from The CW’s, Hart of Dixie. She also filmed the first season of a web series called, 50 Shades of Girls and a short film called Intrinsic.

In 2014, Krystina filmed a BuzzFeed video called, "If You've Been Bullied You're Not Alone" that became one of their most successful videos for that year and Krystina was chosen to represent the video on the very popular Yahoo News advertised around the world. She then continued to finish a busy year wrapping two web series, Luz, Câmera, Ação directed and written by Brazilian director, Gui Pereira, an Australian web series, Toolies and a multi-camera pilot called, My Sister.

During the Christmas break of 2014 and 2015, Krystina had a life changing experience where she was invited to a table read for an up and coming film starring Al Pacino. Although she got to sit around the table with Al Pacino and the rest of the cast reading the script, unfortunately they decided to go with the other girl in the mix. 

 

She returned back to her hometown for a follow up interview with The Sound Telegraph and Perth's biggest newspaper, The West Australian. Krystina was also asked to talk about her career on Australian talk show, The Couch known for interviewing Australian celebrities such as Rove McManus, Hamish & Andy, Andrew Denton and Amanda Muggleton. Krystina's episode received the most views in four months. 

 

Krystina continued her success on the short film called, "Nora", which premiered at Warner Brothers Studios in Los Angeles, and a web project called, "Ready, Set, Style" starring Dance Mom's, Chloe Lukasiak that aired on Awesomeness TV! She filmed an infomercial for home coloring product, eSalon, a Cricket Wireless commercial with WWE Professional Wrestler, Actor and TV Host, John Cena and voiced a video game called, "Life Is Strange Before The Storm"  that has received over 75 awards and Game of the Year Listings. 

Krystina continues to thrive in the busy lifestyle that she is living. She has had the opportunity to be chosen out of thousands to audition for Seth Rogen's new TV Show, "The Boys" and she was invited back to Buzzfeed to collaborate on another video, "Love Language". 

Her most successful project to date was filmed in 2018. The project, that currently cannot be named follows the short film that went to Sundance Film Festival in 2017. With a quick turn around and additional cast added the feature film was filmed June 2018 with Krystina starring opposite Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul). 

 

Krystina's journey in the United States continues to grow with the support of her family and home town. Her local newspapers in Perth, The Sound Telegraph, The Sunday Times and The West Australian continue to document her success. Krystina has also made many appearances on Radio Fremantle and TV Show, The Couch. She continues to share her experiences with all those dreamers in Perth and around the world who might be chasing the same dream as her.
